Terms of Service
Version 2 · Effective 4 November 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Cash Tracker, the operator of the website at cashtracker.pages.dev and of any related pages, apps and services ("Cash Tracker", "we", "us" or "our"). Please read them carefully. They limit our liability, explain how we may use the information you enter, and contain an agreement on governing law and where disputes are heard.
In short: Cash Tracker is a free planning tool provided as it is, with no promises that it is accurate or always available. You stay the owner of what you enter, you give us the right to store it, look at it and learn from it, and you can delete your account at any time. Nothing on Cash Tracker is financial, legal or tax advice. This summary helps you read the Terms; it does not replace them.
1. Agreeing to these Terms
1.1 You accept these Terms when you tick the box that says you agree to them, when you create an account, or when you use the Service in any other way. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1.2 If you use the Service for a company, a firm or any other organization, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms for it. In that case "you" means both you and that organization, and both of you are responsible for following these Terms.
1.3 Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. It is part of these Terms.
2. Words used in these Terms
2.1 "Service" means the Cash Tracker website, the dashboard, the shared scenarios, the emails we send and every other feature we offer now or later.
2.2 "Account" means the access you create with your email address and password.
2.3 "Your Content" means everything you or people you invite enter into the Service: company names, project names, amounts, dates, notes, scenarios, settings and similar material.
2.4 "Shared Scenario" means a plan that its owner opens to other people so they can view it or edit it together.
2.5 "Aggregated Data" means information built from Your Content and from the content of other users that is combined or changed so that it does not identify you, your organization or any person.
3. Who may use the Service
3.1 You must be at least 18 years old and able to make a binding contract.
3.2 The Service is meant for business planning. It is not meant for personal household use.
3.3 You may not use the Service if the law where you are forbids it, or if we have closed your account before.
4. Your account
4.1 Give us true and complete information, and keep it up to date.
4.2 Keep your password secret and do not share your Account. You are responsible for everything that happens under your Account, whether or not you allowed it.
4.3 Tell us straight away at the email address in section 26 if you think someone else is using your Account.
4.4 We may refuse, suspend or close any Account, at any time, as section 18 explains.
5. The Service
5.1 Cash Tracker lets you plan a company's cash month by month: funding, projects, money in and out, completion of works, and scenarios.
5.2 The Service is offered free of charge at the moment. We may add, change, limit or remove any feature, at any time, with or without notice.
5.3 We do not promise that the Service will always be available, fast, secure or free of errors. It runs on third-party platforms and may stop for maintenance, technical faults, limits of free plans or reasons outside our control.
5.4 Some features may be labeled as new or test features. You use them at your own risk.
6. No financial, legal or tax advice
6.1 Cash Tracker is a calculator and planning tool. It is not a bank, a lender, an investment adviser, an accountant or a law firm, and it does not give financial, investment, legal, tax, zakat or accounting advice.
6.2 Every figure the Service shows, including balances, funding costs, payments, forecasts and summaries, is an estimate built from the information you enter and from simple assumptions. It may be wrong or incomplete.
6.3 You alone decide what to do with any result. Check important figures yourself and with qualified advisers before you rely on them, for example before you borrow, lend, invest, pay or sign anything.
7. Your Content
7.1 You keep all ownership rights you have in Your Content.
7.2 You are fully responsible for Your Content: that it is accurate, that you have the right to enter it, and that entering it, sharing it and our use of it under these Terms do not break any law, any contract (including confidentiality duties to your employer, clients or partners) or anyone's rights.
7.3 Do not enter personal data about other people unless you have a lawful basis to do so. Never enter identity numbers, bank account or card numbers, passwords, health information or other sensitive personal data. If you do, you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for it.
7.4 Do not use the Service to store content that is illegal, misleading, infringing, harmful or that you are not allowed to disclose.
7.5 We do not check Your Content before it is saved, and we are not responsible for it. We may remove or block any content that we reasonably believe breaks these Terms or the law.
8. The rights you give us over Your Content
8.1 You give Cash Tracker a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence, with the right to sublicense to the service providers that run the Service for us, to host, store, copy, back up, process, transmit, display, analyze and adapt Your Content, for as long as it is kept in the Service and afterwards for as long as copies remain in backups or must be kept by law.
8.2 We use this licence to provide, run, secure, support and fix the Service, to understand how it is used, to improve it and to develop new features and services.
8.3 This licence does not let us sell Your Content or publish it in a way that identifies you or your organization, except as these Terms or the Privacy Policy allow, or with your permission.
9. Aggregated Data
9.1 We may create Aggregated Data from Your Content and from the content of other users, for example benchmarks, statistics, trends and research about how companies plan their cash.
9.2 Aggregated Data belongs to Cash Tracker. We may use, publish, share and sell it, for any lawful purpose, without paying you and without further permission, provided that it does not identify you, your organization or any person.
9.3 We will not try to identify you or any person from Aggregated Data, and we will not allow those we share it with to try.
10. Access by the site owner
10.1 You understand and agree that the owner of Cash Tracker, and the people the owner authorizes to help run the Service, can open and see every Account and every plan, including Your Content and the email address of the Account.
10.2 They may do so to run, support and secure the Service, to check that these Terms are followed, to respond to legal requests, and to learn, in total across companies, how companies plan their cash. They are expected to keep each company's figures confidential.
11. Shared Scenarios and working together
11.1 The owner of a Shared Scenario decides who may see it and who may edit it, by inviting people, by changing their permissions, or by sending a link together with a password. Anyone who opens a Shared Scenario must have an Account.
11.2 Anyone with edit permission can add, change or delete anything in that Shared Scenario. Changes appear for everyone at once, and the Service keeps a history showing who changed what and when.
11.3 You are responsible for whom you invite, for keeping links and passwords secret, and for removing people who should no longer have access. Anyone who has the link and the password can join until you change the password, make a new link or turn the link off. People who already joined stay until you remove them.
11.4 We are not responsible for what other members do in a Shared Scenario, including changes, deletions, copies they make or disclosure of what they see. Disputes between members are between them.
11.5 When you join a Shared Scenario, its owner and its other members can see your name, your email address where the Service shows it, when you are online in it and the changes you make.
12. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions or comments, we may use them freely, for any purpose, without paying you or owing you anything.
13. Rules of use
You must not:
- use the Service in a way that breaks any law or regulation, or anyone's rights;
- try to get into other people's Accounts or data, or into parts of the Service you are not allowed to use;
- test, probe or break the security of the Service, or get around any limit or protection;
- copy, scrape, harvest or download the Service or other people's data with bots or other automatic means;
- reverse engineer, decompile or copy the Service, except where the law allows it despite this rule;
- upload viruses or any harmful code, or overload the Service;
- send spam, or use invitations, sign-ups or other features to send unwanted messages;
- put links, advertising or misleading text in company names, project names or notes;
- pretend to be someone else, or misstate your connection with a person or organization;
- resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
14. Services run by others
14.1 The Service depends on providers such as Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (hosting) and Google (email sending and fonts), and may use others in the future.
14.2 These providers have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their services, their failures or anything they do or fail to do, beyond what the law requires of us.
15. Security and incidents
15.1 We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the Service and Your Content, such as encrypted connections, scrambled passwords and access rules that keep each Account separate.
15.2 No system is completely secure. You understand and accept that, despite these measures, data may be lost, damaged, changed, or seen or taken by people who are not allowed to see it, for example through attacks, faults or mistakes at our providers or on your own devices.
15.3 To the fullest extent the law allows, Cash Tracker is not responsible for any unauthorized access, use, disclosure, change or loss of Your Content caused by third parties, hackers, our providers or events outside our reasonable control, or by your own actions, such as a weak or shared password.
15.4 If a security incident affects personal data, we will act as the law requires, including telling the competent authorities and the people affected where we must.
15.5 You are responsible for the security of your own devices and email, and for telling us at once about any incident you notice.
16. Backups and loss of data
16.1 We do not promise to keep backups of Your Content, and we are not responsible for the loss of any of it.
16.2 Keep your own copies of anything important, for example with the image and PDF export.
17. Price
17.1 The Service is free for now.
17.2 We may introduce paid plans or charges later. We will tell you before you are charged for anything, and you will not have to pay unless you choose a paid plan. Free features may be limited or removed.
18. Suspension and ending
18.1 You may stop using the Service at any time. Delete my data, in the Service, removes your Account and the content saved in it.
18.2 We may suspend, limit or close your Account, or stop all or part of the Service, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice, including if we believe you broke these Terms or the law, or if your use puts the Service, other users or us at risk.
18.3 When your Account ends, your right to use the Service ends. Sections 7 to 10, 12 and 15 to 26 keep applying after that.
19. No warranties
19.1 THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS.
19.2 To the fullest extent the law allows, Cash Tracker gives no warranties or promises of any kind, express or implied, including any about accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, security, fitness for a purpose, quality or non-infringement, and any that might arise from dealing or usage.
19.3 We do not promise that the Service will meet your needs, that its calculations are correct, or that errors will be fixed.
20. Limits on our liability
20.1 To the fullest extent the law allows, Cash Tracker, its owner and the people who work with it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, savings, goodwill, opportunity or data, or for business interruption, arising from or connected with the Service or these Terms, even if we were told such loss was possible.
20.2 To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims arising from or connected with the Service or these Terms, whatever the cause and whatever the legal basis, is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, and (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
20.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies, such as liability for fraud, or for harm we cause deliberately or through gross negligence.
20.4 The limits in this section are a fair reflection of the fact that the Service is free, and they apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.
21. Your responsibility to us
21.1 You agree to defend, compensate and hold harmless Cash Tracker, its owner and the people who work with it from and against any claim, demand, loss, damage, penalty, cost and expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or connected with:
- Your Content, including any personal data you enter about other people;
- your use of the Service, or use under your Account;
- your breach of these Terms or of any law; or
- any dispute between you and other users, members of your Shared Scenarios, your employer, clients, partners or anyone else.
21.2 We may take over the defense of any such claim, and you will help us with it.
22. Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including failures of the internet, power, providers or networks, cyber-attacks, epidemics, natural disasters, war, unrest, strikes, and acts or orders of governments or authorities.
23. Changes to these Terms
23.1 We may change these Terms at any time. The new version applies from the date it is posted, or from a later date we give.
23.2 If a change is important, we will ask you to accept the new Terms in the Service, or tell you by email or on the website. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the Service and you may delete your Account.
23.3 If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the changed Terms.
24. Governing law and disputes
24.1 These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising from or connected with them or with the Service, are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
24.2 Before starting any formal claim, you agree to contact us and to try in good faith to settle the dispute for at least 30 days.
24.3 The competent courts in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not settled, unless the law requires otherwise.
24.4 To the extent the law allows, any claim must be brought within one year after the facts giving rise to it occurred, otherwise it is waived.
25. General terms
25.1 Whole agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service, and replace any earlier agreement about it.
25.2 Transfer. We may transfer these Terms, our rights and our duties, in whole or in part, to anyone, including as part of a merger, an acquisition or a sale of the Service or its assets. You may not transfer your rights or duties without our written permission.
25.3 If a part is invalid. If any part of these Terms is found invalid or cannot be enforced, it is limited or removed only as much as needed, and the rest remains in full force.
25.4 No waiver. If we do not use or enforce a right, we do not give it up.
25.5 Notices. We may send you notices by email to the address of your Account or by showing them in the Service. You may send us notices at the email address in section 26.
25.6 Electronic acceptance. Your acceptance of these Terms by ticking a box or clicking a button is valid and binding as if you had signed them, and our records of it are proof of your acceptance.
25.7 Language. These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation and it differs from the English version, the English version prevails, to the extent the law allows.
25.8 Headings and summaries are for convenience only and do not change the meaning of these Terms.
